Refund Policy

Last updated 14 October 2026

This policy applies to every registration for UK FACE Congress 2027, including the Full Congress Pass, the Cadaver Workshop (Dissector and Observer places) and the Virtual Pass. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions. By completing your registration, you confirm that you have read and accepted this policy.

1. All registrations are non-refundable

Once your registration is confirmed, the fee you have paid is non-refundable. This applies to every pass type, to full payments and deposits, and to payments made by card or through Klarna.

We do not give partial refunds for any day, session, workshop or part of the programme that you do not attend.

2. If you are unable to attend

If you cannot attend for any reason, we are unable to offer a refund. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • illness, injury or a personal or family emergency
  • work or clinical commitments
  • travel disruption, cancelled flights or strikes
  • a delayed or refused visa
  • a change of plans

We strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance that covers event cancellation, travel and accommodation costs.

3. Transferring your place

If you can no longer attend, you may transfer your registration to another delegate up to 14 days before the event you are booked on. The new delegate must meet the eligibility for that pass.

To request a transfer, email info@ukfacecongress.co.uk with your booking details and the full name, email address and professional details of the new delegate. Transfers cannot be made after this deadline, and a transfer does not create any right to a refund.

4. Virtual Pass

The Virtual Pass gives you access to the main-stage programme as it is broadcast, together with replay access for 90 days from the close of the Congress. Please read the points below before you book.

  • Not all content is broadcast. Live surgery and clinical content can only be shown where the patient has given consent and where the operating surgeon and our clinical governance team have approved it. Some cases, procedures or parts of a session may be shown only to delegates in the room in Leeds.
  • Broadcast content may be delayed, edited or paused, and may differ from what is shown in the room. Content may also be removed from replay if consent is withdrawn.
  • We do not give a refund or partial refund if any case, session or part of the programme is not available virtually.
  • You are responsible for having a stable internet connection and a compatible device. We cannot give a refund for problems caused by your own internet connection, device, software or network.
  • Your access is personal to you. Login details must not be shared, resold or passed on, and recording, screen capture or redistribution of any content is not allowed. If we find that access has been misused, we may withdraw it without a refund.

5. Changes to the programme

UK FACE Congress is a live clinical event held in a working hospital. The programme, faculty, live surgery cases, timings, venues and workshop content are provisional and may change. Live surgery may be paused, replaced or cancelled where this is needed for patient safety, consent or clinical governance.

Cadaver Workshop teaching also depends on donor consent, availability of cadaveric material, host institution governance and regulatory requirements, so teaching stations, procedures, faculty and equipment may change.

You are registering for the educational programme as a whole and not for any individual surgeon, procedure, device, sponsor or session. Changes of this kind do not entitle you to a refund. Please see section 4 of our Terms & Conditions for the full programme notice.

6. If we cancel or postpone the Congress

If UK FACE Congress cancels the whole event, or moves it to new dates, we will contact every registered delegate by email with the options available to them. These may include transferring your registration to the new dates or a refund of the registration fee you paid to us.

We are not responsible for any travel, accommodation, visa or other costs you have arranged, so please book flexible or refundable travel where possible.

7. Removal from the event

To protect patient privacy and safety, we may refuse entry to, or remove, any delegate who takes photographs or films in clinical or lecture areas without written permission, breaches patient confidentiality, or behaves in a disruptive or inappropriate way. No refund will be given in these cases.

8. Payment errors

If you have been charged twice for the same registration, or charged the wrong amount because of a payment error, please contact us. Once we have checked the payment, we will refund the duplicate or extra amount to your original payment method.

If you have any concern about a payment, please contact us first so we can look into it with you.

9. Payments made with Klarna

If you paid using Klarna, your agreement with Klarna is separate from your registration with us. This refund policy still applies, and any amounts owed to Klarna remain payable under their terms, including if you do not attend.

10. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.
